Results

The result of IBROW will be an intelligent broker that can handle web requests of customers for classes of knowledge systems (e.g. diagnostic systems) by accessing libraries of reusable problem-solving methods on the Web, and selecting, adapting and configuring these methods in accordance with the customer's problem and domain.

Successful completion of IBROW, which is endorsed by an industrial advisory committee, can have significant impact on European industry because it will help to lower the cost of applying knowledge-system technology, which will become available on a much larger scale. This is especially relevant for SME, which currently cannot afford such technology.
The techniques developed in the project can be directly applied to Intranets.
